Chasis and Ergonomics Department

Chassis and Ergonomics Department is responsible for designing the vehicle’s structural integrity and ensuring driver safety, comfort, and ergonomics. The team works on creating a lightweight yet durable chassis while integrating safety systems and driver-focused components.

Chassis serves as the backbone of the vehicle, combining strength and rigidity with minimum weight. It is designed to withstand dynamic loads while providing mounting points for all subsystems.

Headrest is designed to protect the driver’s head and neck in case of sudden impacts. Comfort, ergonomics, and compliance with safety regulations are prioritized.

Steering Wheel is designed for precision control and driver comfort. Button placement, grip design, and integration of data displays are key factors considered in its development.

Driver Seat ensures the driver maintains a stable and comfortable position during high-speed maneuvers. It is ergonomically shaped and designed for both safety and long-duration driving comfort.

Seat Belt system secures the driver to the seat, minimizing movement during dynamic forces. Designed in accordance with Formula Student safety standards, it provides maximum protection.

Firewall separates the driver from the powertrain and electrical systems, providing thermal and safety protection. It ensures that the driver’s cockpit remains a secure environment under all conditions.
