What is Formula Student?

It is an international engineering design competition first organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) in 1981.
Since the inaugural competition in 1981, Formula Student competitions have grown into an international competition with participants from more than 20 different countries and more than 600 universities. Students have the chance to demonstrate their technical analysis, engineering design and manufacturing skills within the deadline. They also gain experience in skills such as teamwork, time management, project management, budgeting and presentation throughout the study.

How Can I Join the Team?

People who want to join the team take the first step towards the team by filling out the application forms published on KOU Racing social media accounts. Face-to-face interviews are held after the preliminary evaluation based on the form answers. Social and technical issues are evaluated during the interview. Candidates whose interviews are successful are entitled to join the support team. Candidates who successfully complete the support team program join the main team and begin to take an active role in vehicle design, production and organization.
