Vehicle Dynamics and Suspension Department

The Vehicle Dynamics and Suspension Department is responsible for the systems that directly affect the car’s handling, stability, and driving performance. This team ensures that the car remains both controllable and competitive under race conditions by working across several key subunits.

Suspension team designs and optimizes the suspension geometry to maximize grip, comfort, and stability. By analyzing forces and motions, they ensure the car maintains high performance in cornering and uneven track conditions.

Steering team develops the mechanism that allows the driver to control the car precisely. Their focus is on achieving accurate feedback, responsiveness, and reliability, which are critical for racing conditions.

Pedalbox team designs the assembly that houses the accelerator, brake, and sometimes clutch pedals. Ergonomics, driver comfort, and efficient force transfer are central considerations in this design.

Tires team studies tire behavior and performance under different conditions. They analyze grip, wear, and temperature to select and manage tires that will deliver optimal lap times.

Brake team designs and optimizes the braking system to ensure safety and high performance. They balance braking force distribution, cooling, and system reliability to achieve consistent results on track.

Data Analysis team interprets performance data from sensors to optimize vehicle dynamics. They provide engineers and drivers with actionable insights, guiding design improvements and race strategies.
